Miata NA8 Throttle Body to Intercooler Elbow
This elbow allows your NA8 turbocharged engine bay some flexibility. It comes up and around the area where the radiator water neck is (compatible with many aftermarket radiators), then down along the frame rail. This positions the inlet of the elbow above the back of the sway bar, allowing you to run your intercooler piping in a U-shape or a 90-90 from the intercooler with enough space to add a blow-off valve if needed. Specifically this elbow works great for adding clearance when using a cross-flow radiator and/or a coolant re-route, allowing you to have extra room in all the right places. All while not compromising the internal diameter (58.75mm), allowing no restriction under boost. Install Notes: Two 2.5" silicone couplers and Four intercooler clamps to fit them are required, you probably have these if you have an elbow there already. 3D Print Notes: This can be printed from any material that will withstand the heat of the surrounding components, Nylons are preferred, but even ABS might be ok here. The wall thickness is a minimum of 3mm, using a higher infill (~75%) yields good results here. License types: - Personal: 3D print file with a personal use only license. - Professional: File pack with with .STL, .STEP, or other applicable files. For use where less-restrictive files are needed, license allows modifying geometry for in-house use (not for re-sale). - Commercial: File pack with source files for modifying, producing and reselling, license is permissive.
